I know someone who has one. He painted a honeybadger on it. The downside to owning it is that he kinda has to load it on a trailer if he wants to take it anywhere because it ruins the road surface.

You can get rubber tracks for some of them to make them allowed on road ways.

Yeah, and you aren't going to pretend it wasn't you when you run over half Ford Focus by accident backing out of a parking spot.

I may or may not need this in my life now.
I also may or may not be a closeted supervillan.

Shoot for the sky. If you miss, the round's on a ballistic trajectory and it's going to fuck someone else's day up as well.

If yall wanna see more stuff like this (tanks, jeeps, halftracks, etc.) I would suggest looking up and going to a WWII reenacting event like this: ww2rockfordevent.com There is also a big one in Reading PA and others around the US and some in europe. And if you are looking to buy, a minty WWII ford or willys Jeep will run around 12K USD.

I want a Willys so bad. My uncle has a '43 MB that saw action in france, and now it's lifted on big fuck off tires and is powered by a buick turbo 6.

You can buy a T-72 for around $50,000. Not sure what shipping is to get it from Europe though.

However much it costs the US government to fly a C-17 from one side of the pond to the other.

Actually shipping one in a CONEX one way is only a few grand. I think the T72 may be too wide for one though.

But the Mystery Box could be anything! It could even be a tank! You know how much we've wanted one of those.

Maybe disassemble the tracks and turret into separate containers and ship the whole thing over in 3 big boxes?

The hull is the width of the tracks. A group of folks I know have been shipping armored cars and tanks (ww2) around. It might be ok width wise. A cones can hold a lot if you stack it right.
FWIW if you put an Abrams into a c17 you have basically stressed the airframe pretty hard. So you can do it. Once.
